  • A while ago I picked up some XT130 struts, brakes & LCAs with old school KMac camber tops off a forum guy. I'd run the stock struts for years without any problems but after a track day at EC it started shitting wheel bearings. Wheel alignment place told me I had a bent strut (never knew, I've never crashed it) and they aligned it so it still drove OK.

Ok, lets get stuck into the basics of what you need and how to do it. Firstly you need to start with the XT130 struts. I usually source mine from a wrecker, and since im lazy i normally get them pulled out for me...

  • Alfonzo modified Toyota corona XT130 front struts and used them with SW20 KYB AGX rear shocks and a Koni coilover kit to achieve the perfect stance.

    Suspension
XT130 struts with Pedders "Extreme" inserts, origin unknown but the valving looks good!
Coil over sleeves w/ 65mm ID springs + helpers
Adjustable camber tops with 5mm offset for more caster - designed by me
    40mm RCA's
    Whiteline H/Duty front sway bar
KE70 crossmember & steering rack conversion w/ AE86 power steering arms
Custom LCA's to give adjustment (stock to +50mm)
Rear springs converted to 65mm ID motorsport springs w/ adjustable ride height
Rear shocks are Pedders Sports Ryder from a Camaro, again valving & stroke looked suitable
Adjustable rear arms, rose jointed at diff, urethane at body
    Whiteline adjustable panhard rod
    Whiteline adjustable rear sway bar

These take a NON ventilated disc - I reckon for someone who doesn't want to go ventilated (I know fook was looking at this route) you could *prolly* bolt this caliper to the XT130 strut and use the stock XT130 disc and thats all.

what you see is what you get xt130 struts with sleeve

I have to pickup some RT132/XT130 struts next week, so, the trial fitment and disc size (266mm is XT130 stock) will be figured...the peugeot F272 rotor indeed does look like the winner...with machining of the rotor down to 266mm being required as per dorikans article.
